AS DelfinGroup expands the availability of financial services in Riga with a new Banknote branch in Zolitūde

In December, Latvian financial service company AS DelfinGroup opened a new branch of Banknote network in Zolitūde, Zolitūdes iela 34, Rīga; in the second half of the year the branch network of Latgale region was also improved. Thus, with a total of 94 branches across Latvia, the company strengthens its leading position in the pawnshop market having the largest number of branches. The new branch in Zolitūde is located in the shopping centre Venta and here you can buy and sell pre-owned goods, as well as receive pawn and consumer loans.

“Until now, there was only one Banknote branch in Zolitūde, but considering the fact that almost 20 thousand people live in the district, we decided to open another branch in order to ensure better access to financial services for the people of the neighbourhood. The new branch is located near the railway station Imanta, on the premises of the shopping centre Venta, which is the transport and business centre of the district and is easily accessible to everyone. The bright premises, which are also accessible to people in wheelchairs, comprise a spacious store with a wide range of pre-owned goods, and loan services available here as well - consumer loans, pawn loans and loans specifically tailored for people of retirement age,” says Ivars Lamberts, Member of the Management Board of AS DelfinGroup. “The newly opened branch is the 43rd in Riga and 94th in Latvia. Banknote is the largest pawn shop network in Latvia and the coverage of branches is nearly optimal, therefore we focus on positive customer experience - customer service, customised products, and convenience of receiving loan services.”

Taking care of the availability of convenient financial services for every individual throughout Latvia, the main focus in the third quarter of this year was on the development of branches in Latgale region. - Two branches - one in Preiļi, Daugavpils iela 2, and one in Ludza, Stacijas iela 30, were moved to new premises, which are more easily accessible to customers. At the same time a new Banknote branch was opened in Daugavpils, Viestura iela 84.

The sustainable development goal of AS DelfinGroup business is to combine economic benefits and green thinking. The company develops a network of Banknote branches and creates an infrastructure to make it easier for people accross Latvia to sell and buy used and tested goods more profitably. Banknote has become one of the leading trade channels for pre-owned and tested goods in Latvia, helping people exchange things. Reusing goods is a very effective way of reducing unnecessary consumption and overexploitation of natural resources, and it also helps people to save and manage their financial resources more efficiently.

AS DelfinGroup offers consumer loans, pawn loans, buy now pay later loans (BNPL loans), as well as the sale of pre-owned goods in more than 90 branches throughout Latvia and in online store. Consumer loans up to 7,000 euros with a repayment term of up to seven years are available for daily or unforeseen expenses, such as home repairs, buying or fixing a car or purchase of electrical appliances. A pawn loan is secured by jewellery, electrical goods, work tools and other goods that are valued on-site or remotely. The amount of the pawn loan depends on the collateral and its repayment term is up to two years. Buy now pay later loans (BNPL loans) ca be up to 1,400 euros with a repayment period of up to three years. The online store offers approximately 30,000 pre-owned and tested items, which can be received at any Banknote branch or by delivery.

To increase the availability of modern financial services for various groups of people in Latvia, AS DelfinGroup is consistently working on the improvement of remote services both for various types of loans and for sale of goods. People can buy pre-owned goods not only in branches, but also in the online store veikals.banknote.lv, and receive them by delivery or pick them up at any Banknote branch.
