This year Latvian financial services company AS DelfinGroup participated in the client service quality assessment competition “Latvijas Labākais tirgotājs 2020” (Latvia's Best Trader 2020) for the first time and received two winning titles in the store category.

The competition is organized by the Latvian Traders Association (LTA) and the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments (LALRG). This time LTA experts had to evaluate several hundred commercial facilities, and only 22 of them were shortlisted as potential winners. The main competition evaluation criteria were customer service quality, arrangement and environment, range of products, special offers and information accessibility.  

Four branches of DelfinGroup that operate under brand name Banknote participated in the competition organized by the LTA and each of them received a positive evaluation: 

• Nomination “Winner” - Banknote branch in Daugavpils, Saules iela 55; 
• Nomination “Winner” - Banknote branch in Tukums, Elizabetes iela 6;
• Nomination “Laureate” - Banknote branch in Aizpute, Zvaigžņu iela 2;
• Nomination “Participant” - Banknote branch in Limbaži, Rīgas iela 7.

Only six competitors, representing Latvian stores, were ranked in the nomination “Winner”, and two of them were Banknote branches.

I would like to thank all colleagues who make sure daily that our branches are valued by our clients. ” The jury formed by the LTA, first of all, evaluated the commercial facility - its infrastructure, internal order, accessibility and general emotions upon entering and walking through the premises. The jury also evaluated the employees' knowledge, competence, politeness, and cooperation, as well as the overall range of goods and services - their diversity and quality.

Henriks Danusēvičs, the President of LTA: “I was involved in the evaluation of all participating facilities of the competition “Latvia's Best Trader 2020”, and therefore I visited branches of Banknote pawn shop network for the first time. Well, I am really surprised, in the positive way, by the range of goods available in the branches. I especially appreciate the employees’ attitude and the service quality. I would like to single out the employees of the branch of Banknote pawn shop network in Saules iela in Daugavpils as an example of excellent customer service.”  

The objective of the competition “Latvia's Best Trader” is to promote the improvement of customer service standards and culture in a company by enhancing the quality of service offered by entrepreneurs in commerce, catering, and service sectors and appreciating individual contribution of every staff member. It is a non-commercial and open competition - any Latvian company operating in the sector can take part in it. The competition is organized by public organizations - the Latvian Traders Association in cooperation with the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments.
