The Latvian fintech company DelfinGroup, continuing the development of the Banknote chain of circular economy stores, has opened a Banknote XL concept store in Rēzekne, moving to new and spacious premises at Atbrīvošanas aleja 119. The new store is almost four times bigger, providing residents with an even wider range of pre-owned and verified goods in one place.

Didzis Ādmīdiņš, Chairman of the Management Board of DelfinGroup, points out that the demand for in-store Banknote services in Rēzekne is steadily growing.

"In recent years, DelfinGroup has been actively improving and developing the Banknote branch network, investing in store transformation and offering new circular economy concept stores across Latvia. This initiative is an important part of our business strategy to provide modern retail and financial service centres. Meanwhile, due to high demand, we see is appropriate to expand retail space in certain locations, for example, by opening Banknote XL stores, where a significantly wider range of goods is available in one place. Currently, there are stores of this concept in Daugavpils and Riga, and now also in Rēzekne," informs D. Ādmīdiņš.

D. Ādmīdiņš adds that the new premises in Rēzekne are located a few steps away from the previous location but they are significantly different in design and almost four times larger in area, which means that the store can accommodate a wide range of goods, i.e., instead of 1000 goods, it will now offer around 5000 goods. This will provide clients with a wider and more varied choice to suit their needs and interests.

As before, the store will offer customers the opportunity to buy pre-owned and new goods with a guarantee, and to sell items that are no longer needed but are still in working order, as well as to receive financial services.

"We are seeing a growing interest in circular economy, with people increasingly choosing slightly pre-owned goods over new. Our priority is to create an efficient infrastructure that not only simplifies access to services but also supports sustainable consumption by promoting resource efficiency," says D. Ādmīdiņš.

Currently, the Banknote network has more than 90 branches in Latvia and Lithuania, as well as an online retail store with more than 55 000 pre-owned and verified goods. Banknote offers a guarantee of up to 2 years for the goods sold.
