Supporting seniors in Latvia is an important part of DelfinGroup social responsibility, and the company is happy to continue this important initiative this year by increasing its donation to the Latvian Seniors' Community Association (LSKA). This long-term partnership allows us to improve the quality of life of seniors by offering opportunities to develop skills, participate in social integration activities and receive the necessary medical and daily support.

We believe in equal opportunities and social inclusion, which is why we regularly get involved in initiatives that promote the well-being and empower seniors," says Didzis Ādmīdiņš, Chairman of the Board of DelfinGroup.

Astrīda Babāne, Chair of the Board of LSKA, emphasises that the company's support over the past five years has enabled it to improve conditions in more than forty social care institutions across Latvia, helping with the purchase of medical equipment and diversifying the daily activities of seniors. "DelfinGroup support allows many elderly people to fill their time with purpose and meaning, improving their quality of life and making their end of life brighter," says Astrīda.

This year's donation will go towards initiatives aimed at the education and social inclusion of seniors, promoting their involvement in society and providing them with opportunities to improve their skills in financial literacy, information technology and other key areas. It will also support the purchase of medical equipment for care centres and other institutions where seniors live, as well as various activities that promote exchanges and strengthen communities across Latvia.

"DelfinGroup not only provides financial support but is also actively involved in joint initiatives with LSKA and seniors. In January, we traditionally meet to watch a film produced by LSKA about the events of the previous year, and in spring we organise a joint clean-up in a senior care home. Both seniors and our staff participate in these events, strengthening community ties and promoting social engagement. We appreciate the opportunity not only to continue this tradition, but also to be present and actively participate in creating positive change," says Sanda Šapale, Communications Manager at DelfinGroup.
