By continuing its development on the Lithuanian market Latvian fintech company DelfinGroup has opened two new branches of the circular economy concept store Banknote in Vilnius, thus providing pawn loan services and buying and selling of slightly pre-owned and pre-owned goods to a broader range of customers.

One of the newly opened Banknote branches is located in the busy area of the city centre, at Kalvariju gatve 98, while the other is at Savanoriu prospektas 33.

Didzis Ādmīdiņš, Chairman of the Management Board of DelfinGroup, emphasises that half a year after the launch of its operations in Lithuania, the company is seeing a growing demand for the services offered.

"The accumulated experience of DelfinGroup in the Latvian market now provides an invaluable basis for rapid development in the neighbouring country, so we are working on expanding the Banknote network to make it even more accessible to our customers. Our aim is to offer Lithuanian consumers accessible, modern and visitor-friendly places where they can get a pawn loan, buy and sell pre-owned, slightly pre-owned and new goods in one place. We have strategically chosen the locations of our new branches so that they are accessible to a bigger number of customers," says D. Ādmīdiņš.

With the launch of the two new branches, the Banknote network coverage in Lithuania reaches seven branches. Currently, there is an online shop with more than 55,000 pre-owned and verified products in Lithuania and Latvia.

The company will start offering consumer loans

In July this year, DelfinGroup LT UAB, the subsidiary of DelfinGroup, received a licence from the Bank of Lithuania to provide a consumer loan service. Therefore, in addition to pawn loans, DelfinGroup will also start offering consumer loan services on the Lithuanian market both online and in Banknote branches in third quater of this year.

D. Ādmīdiņš: "We are also working on customised, understandable and accessible financial services in the Lithuanian market, where not only strong digital solutions but also physical store coverage play a key role. This is why we see opportunities to further expand the geographic reach of Banknote in Lithuania in the future."
