AS DelfinGroup awarded status of a Family-Friendly Workplace
The Society Integration Foundation has commended AS DelfinGroup, and announced it as a Family-Friendly Workplace that puts the priority on people and their needs. These values represent a long-term focus in all areas pertaining to the company’s business: from staff development to business development and social responsibility.
“The appreciation we’ve received is important to AS DelfinGroup, because it serves as objective recognition of our emphasis on the value vectors that are important to society. The well-being of our employees and a good work-life balance are important cornerstones in the way AS DelfinGroup pursues its human resources policy, along with supporting equal opportunities and building a sustainable, inclusive society. In developing our products and services, we also take into account the interests of various social groups and foster the implementation of a circular economy. All of this shapes our identity,” says AS DelfinGroup chairman of the board Didzis Ādmīdiņš.
COVID-19 has changed people’s habits and needs, and AS DelfinGroup is promptly implementing the best solutions for meeting them. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the company’s employees have been able to work remotely, receiving all the necessary equipment to set up a home office. In addition to taking care of the safety and emotional health of its employees, the company organized informative sessions with experts for employees to receive answers to their questions about the vaccination and improvement of wellbeing during the pandemic.
Even after the state of emergency, should the specifics of their work permit so, AS DelfinGroup employees may choose to adjust their form of work to their lifestyle, circumstances, and values. They are better positioned to choose the working hours which can be fixed or flexible. In terms of the place of work, they can choose between working in the office or remotely, which includes intermittently working outside Latvia for up to three months a year, and engaging in a hybrid form of working, i.e., combining remote and on-site work. This flexible approach makes it possible for employees to achieve a better work-life balance, accomplishing their goals in both these areas at the same time.
