AS DelfinGroup continues supporting Ukraine with another EUR 100,000 donation
Having donated 100,000 euros to various charitable initiatives aimed at supporting Ukraine, AS DelfinGroup calls for other companies to be active and offer help to those defending Ukraine and the victims of the war. Children’s Hospital Foundation and Entrepreneurs for Peace movement will receive the donation. AS DelfinGroup has been providing assistance since the very beginning of the war, having donated a total of 200,000 euros.
“More people suffer from the war in Ukraine with every day it continues, ever increasing the importance of the aid Ukraine’s allies provide to the brave people fighting for their country, and those who had to flee abroad as refugees. We cannot stop the war directly, but we can, and certainly must, offer help and support. At the beginning of this war, AS DelfinGroup decided to support Ukraine, and we will continue doing it.We call for other companies to become involved and help!” Chairman of the Management Board of AS DelfinGroup Didzis Ādmīdiņš.
From the 100,000 euro donation, 90,000 will go to the Entrepreneurs for Peace movement, uniting Latvian companies in their support for Ukraine’s struggle for peace and freedom. The movement operates in conjunction with Ziedot.lv, and thanks to supporter donations, more than 50 shipments of various essential goods worth almost 10 million euros have been sent to Ukraine. AS DelfinGroup previously donated 70,000 euros to Entrepreneurs for Peace in early March.
AS DelfinGroup will donate 10,000 euros to the Help them rise up! Support for Ukrainian refugee families programme of the Children's Hospital Foundation, which offers help to refugee children, coordinating the provision of healthcare services, providing financial aid in situations when the necessary medical treatments are not paid by the state, assisting with transportation to medical facilities, delivering psychological or social support, medications or medical products.
