Banknote branches receive praise in the Best Trader of Latvia 2021
For the second year in a row, the Latvian fintech company JSC DelfinGroup participated in the Best Trader of Latvia customer service quality assessment competition organised by the Latvian Traders Association (LTA) and the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments (LALRG). The expert jury praised all four Banknote pawn shop chain branches that joined the competition.
This year, LTA experts evaluated several hundreds of venues using an anonymous customer approach; the list includes four Banknote branches of the DelfinGroup brand:
- Banknote branch in Rīga, Ieriķu iela 3 (TC Domina);
- Banknote branch in Preiļi, Daugavpils iela 2;
- Banknote branch in Liepāja, M. Ķempes Iela 8;
- Banknote branch in Valmiera, Cēsu iela 11.
Each of them received a favourable rating from the jury, which awarded them the honorary title of a Laureate.
Chairman of the Board of JSC DelfinGroup Didzis Ādmīdiņš said: ‘The company is actively expanding its network of Banknote branches, building an infrastructure to make it easier for people to sell and buy used and tested goods at better prices all over Latvia. The branches offer a broad range of services: consumer and pawnshop loans, used and slightly used goods, including smart devices and jewellery. The results of the competition confirm, most of all for us, that Banknote branches, their accessibility, the competence and friendliness of their employees, and the extent and quality of the range of products and services get the praise they deserve. I want to thank our colleagues who deliver top customer service in our branches daily!’
In describing the laureates of the Best Trader of Latvia 2021 competition, Henriks Danusēvičs, board chairman of the Latvian Traders Association, emphasised that DelfinGroup Banknote pawnshops continued to keep quality at a high level: ‘Banknote activities outside Riga demonstrate competitiveness. Banknote has remained the only company in many towns that helps people fulfil their wishes at a difficult time.’
Meanwhile, LTA co-chairman Dainis Domiņš has visited Banknote branches in Riga and other Latvian cities. ‘I was pleasantly surprised by the Banknote in the Domina Shopping mall. Notably, the shop is equipped with excellent visual advertising. Its lighting, product layout, accessibility, and range also deserve a mention. The range was one of the largest compared to all the other Banknote shops. I want to emphasise that salespeople in the shops outside Riga stood out for their kindness and cordial attitude towards buyers. They were educated and competent, able to answer even tricky questions by the customers,’ he observed.
It should be mentioned that the Domina Shopping Banknote branch has seen the implementation of the new branch concept for the brand. Its goal is to create a multifunctional point for trading goods and services where people can buy new and used high-end tested smart devices and sell various pre-owned goods. You can also receive multiple financial services at the shop, such as applying for a consumer loan or arranging the payment for a purchase in instalments.
The purpose of the Best Trader of Latvia competition is to improve customer and guest service standards and culture in the company while raising the quality of the services offered by the retail, catering, and service industries, encouraging the individual contribution of the staff. It is non-commercial and open: any Latvian company operating in the industry can join the competition. The Best Trader of Latvia is organised by public organisations: the Latvian Traders Association and the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments.
