DelfinGroup continues to support Ukraine and donates 50,000 euros to the TEV association
Since the beginning of the war in February 2022, DelfinGroup has actively supported Ukraine - both its defenders and the residents of the country, who have suffered in the war or were forced to become refugees. The company has donated to the Children's Hospital Foundation, the foundation Entrepreneurs for Peace and now also to the TEV association. The total amount of donations is 250,000 euros. Until the end of the year, the TEV association will receive a monthly donation of 10,000 euros in order to promptly arrange and deliver the necessary things to the defenders of the country and the people in eastern Ukraine.
Didzis Ādmīdiņš, Chairman of the Management Board of DelfinGroup, explains: "More than half a year has passed since the beginning of the war. Millions of people in Ukraine have suffered from unimaginable aggression, and we believe that action should be taken. We, DelfinGroup, made a decision already in the first days of the war to support Ukraine and will continue to do so. Now that winter is approaching, the support of allies is crucial for both the brave fighters at the front and the victims, who must be able to survive in the war-torn areas! We also invite other companies to help and understand that Ukraine is fighting for the benefit of all of Europe!"
The TEV association is able to quickly identify the amount of help needed and deliver it to those who need it most. The drivers of the charity team, risking their lives and safety, are ready to make a 4,000 km long journey and go close to the front line in eastern Ukraine with the aim of restoring the war-affected territories of Ukraine, organizing the delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine and supporting the defenders of the country, including volunteers from Latvia.
Kaspars Polis, member of the TEV association: "As the cold weather is approaching, the TEV association was able to go to the east of Ukraine in time to deliver things necessary for the winter. We were able to do this thanks to a donation from DelfinGroup. Since the "donation boom" has lowered and the volume of donations has fallen sharply, we focus on fulfilling specific needs according to lists prepared in advance by the defenders. We ensure that the humanitarian aid reaches the right people!"
"We provided the defenders of Ukraine with drones, tablets, laptops, various electric and internal combustion tools, generators and electric heaters, car accessories and, of course, a lot of other things, which the drivers of the TEV association are currently delivering near the front so that help can be provided as close as possible. Across eastern Ukraine, winters tend to be very harsh; the warmth will save the lives of soldiers and local residents, who are left without electricity and heating," explains K. Polis.
