DelfinGroup gives a warm gift to a large family before Christmas
Thanks to the responsiveness of DelfinGroup employees, just before the most special of holidays, a single mother and her four children will have the opportunity to spend this and many more holidays in warmth, because part of the budget intended for Christmas gifts for employees was donated to provide heating options for a large family affected by the growing cost of living.
The employees of the company were involved in the decision on the use of the Christmas gift budget. Thanks to their responsiveness and warmth of hearth, a decision was made to use a part of the allocated budget to provide gifts for employees and another – to donate to a family from Vaiņode, South Kurzeme region, who have recently lost their husband and father. With the donated funds, an oven was built for the family.
"I want to say a big thank you for the oven and stove and the warmth in our home! It was a huge surprise for us, and I am truly grateful that there are people who care about families and are willing not to give up and help. I wish the team of DelfinGroup strength and endurance to continue supporting families and bring joy to every heart!" said the mother of the children, Kristīne Andiņa, happy to share her gratitude.
It should be mentioned that the gifts for the employees were also created with added value - they were prepared with love by seniors of the association Svētā Ģimenes Māja. They baked gingerbread cookies with special care and packed them in beautiful gift boxes.
"With special sincerity and gratitude, the ladies of our association Svētā Ģimenes Māja prepared Christmas treats for the team and partners of DelfinGroup. For several years now, the company has been supporting the organisations of the Association of Senior Communities in Latvia. With the support of DelfinGroup, we were able to visit the beautiful places of Latvia, meet with seniors and enjoy concerts in the new concert halls, as well as help seniors in nursing homes and social service centres. Huge thanks from the bottom of our hearts! Every bit of support is worth a million!" explains Lilita Kalnāja, representative of the senior association
Chairman of the Management Board of DelfinGroup Didzis Ādmīdiņš: "Christmas is a special time, when the willingness to make someone happy and create festive magic doubles. We all understand that many families are currently dealing with the growing cost of living. The team of our company wanted to give a Christmas miracle and to help someone who needed it - a large family from Southern Kurzeme went through a tragedy that affected them not only emotionally, but also financially. I am pleased that with the help of DelfinGroup employees, the family will spend this holiday in warmth and with the gifts from children's letters to Santa Claus, that we managed to arrange. I wholeheartedly invite other entrepreneurs to support people in difficulty and the socially disadvantaged persons of our society!"
