Continuing the development and improvement of the Banknote circular economy retail network, a new concept store has opened in Jēkabpils, moving to new and more spacious premises. The new Banknote store is located at 146 Brīvības Street, next to the Old Town Square.

The premises' improvement and expansion are part of the Banknote branch development project, offering customers new stores with a circular economy concept in various locations in Latvia. The store premises differ significantly in design, decoration and furnishing.

"Given the high public demand for convenient financial services and face-to-face goods movement, we continue to invest in the development of Banknote branches. Customers are provided with modern retail and service outlets, including the expansion, improvement and renovation of the Jēkabpils branch. The new premises are located a few steps away from the previous location, but are significantly different in design and three times larger in area, allowing for a wider range of products in one place, as well as accessibility for people with reduced mobility," says Didzis Ādmīdiņš, Chairman of the Management Board of DelfinGroup.

The Banknote branch in Jēkabpils has been open since 2010. Individuals actively use the facility to buy pre-owned and new goods with a guarantee, sell items that are no longer needed but are in working order, and receive financial services.

D. Ādmīdiņš adds that the new premises will offer a wide range of electronics, computers, mobile phones, tools and household appliances, as well as new and refurbished jewellery.

"We see that people actively use the opportunity to receive services as close to their homes as possible, which is why the development of Banknote branches is one of our priorities. There are over 90 Banknote stores in Latvia, with a wide representation in the regions. In some places, our branches are the only or one of the few electrical goods and jewellery retailers while also being a financial services provider. With our extensive branch coverage, we are also indirectly contributing to the development of circular economy principles by encouraging people to make sustainable choices, prolonging the life cycle of goods and supporting the recycling of goods," adds D. Ādmīdiņš.
