With support of AS DelfinGroup, more than 200 young people have acquired skills for free to increase their competitiveness in labour market

In mid-December, the training supported by AS DelfinGroup ended, during which more than 200 young people learned new digital skills for free in order to increase their competitiveness in the labour market. Training Learn the industry: digital marketing was held remotely giving the opportunity to a wide range of interested youngsters across Latvia to participate, to present the newly acquired skills to potential employers at the end of the course and allowing some of them immediately receive a job offer. With support of AS DelfinGroup, youngsters in Kurzeme will continue to have the possibility to receive mentoring to overcome difficulties

Society Attīstības platforma YOU+ (Development Platform YOU+), with the support of Latvian financial service company AS DelfinGroup, organises a five-month individual mentoring programme for a total of 30 young people in Kurzeme, who are in difficult circumstances due to risks of addiction, economic, social, or geographical constraints or mental health challenges. Need for support and practical assistance has become particularly important because of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the programmes already implemented by the Society have proven individual mentoring to be an effective solution to problems. Already this week, with the support of the Latvian financial service company AS DelfinGroup, more than 200 young individuals from all over Latvia will start free training with the purpose to acquire new digital skills and increase their competitiveness in the labour market. DelfinGroup increases support for the elderly by donating for the purchase of medical equipment throughout Latvia

Latvian financial service company AS DelfinGroup, in cooperation with its long-term partner the Association of Senior Communities in Latvia (Latvijas senioru kopienu apvienība - LSKA), is expanding its support for seniors throughout Latvia and placing special emphasis on the people in regions. The donations made this year will help to ensure the purchase of medical equipment in social care institutions in 15 cities of Latvia and to continue educating seniors in the areas of financial literacy and IT.
